I am shocked to see that this game has mostly positive reviews...It is not very good.

There are some nifty ideas here and there, but mostly it is a very simple game that doesn't handle very well and is plagued by obtuse gameplay elements. It also crashes...a lot. In the second half of the game, it often crashed after I finished each and every stage.

Also the writing is LAUGHABLY bad. I am shocked that this game was such a stinker, given that it was made by the same dev team that made Primordia. I bought this thing because Primordia was one of my favorite games ever and I decided right then to keep my eye on Wormwood studios.

Feels like I got scammed.

This is one of the best games that I have played in recent memory.

It's not AAA, its not perfect. but its FUN.

Its also wonderfully atmospheric and genuinely scarier than your usual horror slop.

I Love the asthetic, I love the gameplay, I love the game.

Sickest monster hunter to date, even with the extended HL-2 style cutscenes!

Nothing conceptually groundbreaking. Its mostly a by the books crafting / exploring type of game. But the execution is of an extremely high caliber. This game combines the creme of the crop in base building fun with some of the best UI functionalities taken from 4x and strategy games for the comfiest game play experience around. I think this game is worth a look alone for the attention to detail that has gone into the menu designs and navigation of them. All of the tiny details in this game that were taken with great care add up to a whole greater than the sum of it's parts. It isn't reinventing the wheel; you might not see something here that you've never seen in a game before, but you will mot assuredly see the insane amount of love, effort, and detail that the makers of this game poured into it. And that is a rare treat in and of itself.

Its finally here lads. An (actually) GOOD Star Wars game!
