Early Access Review
As a huge fan of the demo, I cannot recommend the game in it's current state. It's still fun like the demo but is plagued by horrendous optimization issues.

The slums map and the forest can be unplayable depending on whether you're on the daylight or night version of the map.

The log level hazards in the hall are invisible to the AI so you can just lure them into suicide that way.

Fights feel a lot more janky than in the demo (please make that make sense). Fist fights and some specific weapons are especially bad, your character can just randomly fall over for no reason (full health, without doing anything). This is truly awful on both the slums map and the forest as they are full of slanted ground (and slippery mud in the slums).

A lot of losses feel like they're purely up to luck, as do a lot of wins.

Two Three hotfixes later the performance is still abysmal. I've had 5 7 crashes so far. Items sometimes disappear from your inventory randomly. Sometimes you can't equip items.

I think with some polish, optimization and bug fixing this will be a great full version of the game, but currently it is not that.

yeah man, every second enemy having half of its attacks be delayed by a random length of time just to make the game "challenging" despite every previous souls title managing without it, sure is enhancing my gaming experience

that one guy you're pretty sure is a minor-involved sex offender: "uhh git gud lol" *uses reddit-approved meta build* *uses 3 summons to trudge through the game* *has 17 tabs of the wiki open*

No multiplayer.

Classes are all over the place with no direction (with some exceptions).

Latest update removed riot guard's methadone and a bunch of other class-related perks/items.

Latest update seems to have removed weapon levelup perks without replacing them with anything else.

Weapon and body upgrade system feels entirely inferior to Synthetik 1.

Nice visuals but less identity - cartoonier look, guns look cool but not as cool as 1's real life inspired ones.

No quest nodes.

Gameplay is fun but feels like there's no feedback. It's hard to tell what works and what doesn't, what does damage and what doesn't.

Bosses are a glitchy ordeal where you either stomp them or they stomp you, no inbetween.

Easy to get stuck on geometry along with a slew of bugs that can break the game, make it crash or just cause gameplay-impairing problems.

If the game gets better as time goes on, I'll make this a positive review. The core gameplay loop can be satisfying but it's very random feeling.

How do you ship a game that doesn't work across steam / gamepass but manage to get a working cash store in it?

A fresh game from a small indie developer with a tiny budget, a kind of game they've never made before so you'll have to put up with minor bugs like crashing every 20 minutes, the UI not working half the time, weapon unlocks not working or being totally mislabeled. Players also getting banned for no reason while aimbotters and console players (legal aimbotters) get off scot-free.
Some other small issues include a 70 dollar game having premium content like skins that cost 20 dollars with no way to earn the premium currency without shelling out cash, PvE bots with perfect aimbot and helmets that can tank .50 cal rounds to the head without flinching, some weapons being locked behind said PvE mode.

But hey, you can pay 20 dollars to play as a Brazilian soccer player because a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ triple A title can monetize a rotting corpse if the zoomers are used to it.

Awful connection issues, no way to re-join session during a quest.

CS:GO Review
Valve is really great at keeping their multiplayer games alive, but barely so. Same as tf2, the only updates this game gets are more meaningless skins instead of bugfixes, features players want or anything of the sort.

You know how there was a big mess over "gambling" a few years back, effectively killing betting? Well gambling is still in the game, as it always has been - cases and operations that cost you money while the overall droprate for even the cheapest, dirt-ugly skins has dropped to maybe a couple a week, IF you don't get graffiti instead.

There's very little to praise about this game aside from it MOSTLY not screwing up the original formula - it's still fine to play with friends, but I could go outside and chase a greased up piglet around a pen with friends and enjoy it far more. It's not a redeeming quality, it's just something that should already be assumed when it comes to multiplayer games with this much support.

It feels like every bit of joy I've found in this game is more in spite of what the devs want, instead of aligning with it.

It's free, has cute girls, nice music and very simple, polished puzzle gameplay. No excuse to not play this.

As stable as my schizophrenic imaginary friend. I don't reccomend games that won't work.
