An absolute must-try for anyone remotely interested in/attached to dragons or the natural world. 11/10 if you're Otherkin.

When I got to the final scene of this game, it took me twenty minutes of agonising debating to reach a decision. Then after I watched my decisions unfold I collapsed into bed and cried for a good half an hour more.

Ultimately, there are only a limited amount of set endings to this game, but the journey there is so utterly diverse, beautiful and bizarre that it doesn't matter, and they all play out slightly differently depending on your decisions leading up to that point. Over all, this is a beautiful work of multi-media art, the music, the scenery, the characters, the storytelling are all witty, terrifying and stunning at the same time.

The gameplay is simple and takes a backseat after a two or three runs if you play it smart, so if you're not into it, a little bit of grinding is all it takes and the vague roguelikes mechanics will have you strong enough to breeze through all but the hardest encounters, especially if you look out for some of the combat items to help you through those.

Just... don't ♥♥♥♥ with the ferret at first. Either way, be expected to die atleast once before you beat the game. Nature isn't kind, but you may be blessed yet.

Pros:
- Excellent new stages
- Amazing new music
- Very challenging and interesting new boss fight
- ...Some decent new items.
- New interactables
- 3 new enemies
- 3 new mostly unique survivors

Cons:
-- Most of the new items are nothing better than scrap fodder and seriously damage the item pool.
- 2 of new enemies aren't very interesting.
- The new boss can be a little too challenging if you don't get very lucky with movement items (See point one).
- The new survivors are underwhelming in some areas, such as animations and power.

Overall DLC Ranking: 6.5/10
Worth the money you pay for it, but with some high highs and low lows. Not an amazing expansion, but a good first try by Gearbox, and the recent patches show they're willing to improve. Consider using an item blacklist mod, else be ready for your runs be a lot less consistent.

Single handedly the BEST game for messing around with your friends. A must buy for anyone new to gaming.
