Completed the game and only had two crashes early on. Have a high-end rig so FPS/freezing wasn't a big issue.

Enjoyed the voice acting, story, and little details with callbacks of your choices/artwork. Did some "side quests" while not grinding to 100% completion of what is known, it feels very light in content. Quite a few moments of "bug or am I missing something" with some of the puzzles. Most of the time it was me missing something but definitely some bugs where I'd restart and it'd trigger what it needed.

There is no way I can recommend ~10 hours of story gameplay on normal difficulty even if there's slightly more content if you want to get all the upgrades/hidden items for $59.99 USD. Not sure how quickly you can add more content considering how much voice acting is required or missed a roadmap from devs somewhere.

If it were $30.00 USD maybe.

Super fun game and definitely the vibes of its predecessors. Unlocked quite a few helis and upgrades just progressing through the story. Fun to try missions with different weapons/helis. Also being able to winch almost anything is pretty fun and results in some interesting defense/offense.

It's Early Access so content is a little light but very transparent and have a roadmap. Feels like a worthy successor to the previous games in to modern times. Turned on the old soundtrack from the games and transported me back to being a kid.

If you liked the games previously, you'll like this.

Shockingly fun. Bought it initially when there were just 2 zones, now there are 3, and plans for a free 4th coming. Some of the perks/guns are a bit underwhelming but others are very fun. One of the few games I want to 100% and getting closer. Shooting feels clean and some skins for the weapons look great. Can be a bit frustrating where you're doing a non-story mission and the room is just going to end you because it's a giant arena, there's no where to hide, and these can one-hit from the other side. Sometimes it's almost comical but if it's late on a higher run, can be annoying for sure.

Beats up a higher end GPU pretty heavy on max settings and higher resolutions. Only played single-player though as I like to solo and chill so can't comment on performance/balance with more than one player.

Excited for the upcoming 4th zone.


Edit: After just doing Nightmare levels solo. The methods they made the game harder are some of the dumbest things I've seen in a game like this. It's also stupid that there's only certain perks/builds to be able to beat Nightmare. No variety. It's fun for the first half then it's just "BULLET SPONGE" means hard. Borderline not recommended at this point due to idiocy at end game.


Edit: New DLC is meh and buggy. No balance changes and witches? The decisions in this game for late game and this DLC are baffling to me. Can't recommend in the current state despite being hyped for new zone.

My experience is joining a host 20+ times and them closing connection, followed by playing half of a scenario and then the host closing it, and then just so much lag that you can't do anything. Sad that I bought this earlier and never played it. Can't recommend on PC either. 25K+ players and can't find a public game on any difficulty even with crossplay enabled.

Dumbest implementation of a FPS game I can think of to date. Who keeps trades in a game?
400+ ping person not looking at me, I shoot, turns around(while body still facing away) and one taps me. Region lock this, Clowns. Also, why explosives on bolts/arrows? Running that with four ammo crates holding in a building doing literally nothing.

Update:
As of November 2025 it's unplayable for me. US East and US West are unplayable with packet loss and latency. It's on their end as I have no issues with speeds or any other game in any other region.

I've had to reload the game from saves countless times to stop an NPC glitch.


That is dumb. Game should have been delayed another couple months for simple stuff. It might be good in a year or more. I honestly can't believe this is the game they give us.

After the most recent patch the game is garbage. PvP is a little better but PvE is a joke. I wouldn't waste your time with it for now. Maybe in a few patches they'll figure it out but I'm not going to wait around. If this first patch is any indication it's going to be a while.
