This is the Halley's Comet of videogames, everything lined up perfectly for this to release, from kickstarting Divinity: Original Sin, Larian games have come a LONG way. I haven't had this much fun in a videogame since I was a kid playing Morrowind or maybe Gothic and just taking the world in, exploring and learning about the environment. Sure there are bugs, sure the latter acts don't seem AS polished but it's still an incredible journey that made me experience a range of emotions unmatched in this medium and not once did I not fully enjoy my time in this game. The stories, the writing, the character development, the gameplay it's all just perfect.

I'm off to start my dark urge playthrough now lest I become depressed after having finished the game.

Truly a gem

I really want more Fallout, sadly this isn't it.

-Performance is terrible in this, even after tweaking ini files (no good optimization in options)
-100 ms lag on every action
-Enemies are laughably easy and seem to scale to your level at all times (same goes for loot I guess??)
-Level restrictions on armor and guns (lol)
-Game constantly throws pay to win ♥♥♥♥ in your face (Fallout 1st)
-If you die you can just respawn on location with no drawbacks
-Game caters to people who loot every piece of ♥♥♥♥ they find and really wants you to build a cookie cutter base
-Got it on free weekend and still feel scammed because I had to redownload 60 gigs of fo4 assets
-Perks have been reworked in the most boring way imaginable

And this is just scratching the surface after playing about ~2 hrs. I'm actually overwhelmed by all the terrible design choices in this game, like how they keep churning out DLC when basic gameplay seems that bad. How this got that many good reviews is beyond me, do not buy.

GOTY. If you're on the fence, buy it. In this game, knowledge is power and nothing feels more rewarding than absolute unlimited power even if you die 200 times on the first stage just goofing around or get oneshot by a squint of polymorphine at the wrong time.

Worst of the bunch by far.
