Simple, fun, and doesn't run like garbage. Best money spent this year, right after Elden Ring Night Rein.

Not exactly a game, but exploration is what you primarily do. Look for that great sight and take in the scene.

Additive tower defense game. Read the gameplay descriptions first to see if its for you.

Fun physics sandbox. Create your own fun, use it as a planetarium (sort of), learn some planetary science. Your imagination is the key on this one.

The best modern golf game out, imo. Not sure what 2k23 is going to do better aside from new clothing choices.

Interesting game, but it really should be in early access at this point. The game will probably improve as the devs seem to be active on the discussions forum. Here's a quick run down of what needs to be improved or reworked:

+ CPU choice / RAM choice / mobo choice / amount of RAM have no effect on hash rate. There's no reason to buy anything aside from the cheapest of these parts. Choices only matter when you're building a PC for a customer which you'll soon just stop doing.

+ Watt-hours are tracked in game, but power is free and unlimited. If there was an electrical bill to be paid that could help give this game some strategy.

+ There is only 1 location so far. Once you fill up the room with racks, the game is effectively over. If players could buy a larger room, warehouse, or own multiple locations that would also add depth to the game. Along with differing kWh pricing at each location, this could add to the min/max strategy.

+ Location temperature should begin impacting hash rate performance at some point. Individual GPUs can overheat if you overclock them too high, but the room with all the mining equipment does not heat up itself. Smaller rooms should heat up faster, larger rooms should heat up slowly. Adding in different cooling solutions to control room temps would be nice.

+ The price of items never change. It would be great if items could have their price go up or down depending on part stock availability.

+ You should be able to buy multiples of items. If you want ten 3090's you have to buy them 1 at a time. Game UI needs more QoL improvements.

+ Stats for each item should be visible on mouse over since parts do wear out. Once you fill up a room with racks, have fun finding the singular GPU that has finally died. No way to label racks.

+ UI should be reworked to allow the player to see the pricing graphs for all the crypto at once.

+ Add achievements. None at the moment.

As of now the game is a bit barebones, but interesting enough to play for a short time. This is OK given the current price, but if the devs keep making changes at the pace they have so far it should become a much better experience given the price.

Great game. Play to the build you like, but not until you unlock a few artifacts. Best to rush those and start playing the way you would like. The vanilla game without artifacts is still fun but gets sort of stale once you clear the first loop on a regular basis.

Solid game, definitely an improvement over Dirt 4. D4 was the first game where vehicle inertia mattered, Dirt Rally 2 makes noticeable gains in improving CM's vehicle model.

Now, I've played this game with both a G27 and Xbox One controller, but most of this experience has been on a controller. IMO, playing this on a controller has been a more enjoyable experience. The main reason being that CM either doesn't possess the skill to implement a full feedback model (e.g. tire slip) for wheels OR they feel they've spent enough money on this game. The weird thing about this whole issue being Dirt Rally had near perfect wheel feedback where those effects were present.

Of course a wheel provides precision, but the lack of tire slip is not enjoyable. You don't feel anything other than a generic vibration effect over some surfaces. You might as well use a controller. I suppose CM put their resources towards the expected majority player base.

If you're a controller dirt player, you'll enjoy this at half price.

[+] Tire choice mostly matter, get ready for softs on every daily event.
[+] You can 'naturally' flick around corners again, D4 borked this.
[+] Damage costs matter to some extent.
[+] Simplified crew upgrade system compared to D4
[+] The effects of Tuning are more pronounced from D4 and DR1
[+] A majority of the tracks are enjoyable, only a few I don't enjoy.

Moderate complaint
[-] The physics model feels weird when the car slides laterally. IMO it feels as if the wheels don't dig into surfaces like dirt. On pavement or mud I wouldn't expect much bite, but on dirt/gravel you should. In mostly straight line braking you can feel bite, but the wheels feel like they're on ice in comparison when the cars slide sideways. There is controller feedback, but it's not useful. This might be related to no tire slip effects.

Minor complaints
[-] Not a fan of Argentina, but its a new location so there's that.
[-] New England is the hardest location see in and has a few bs blind turns that are completely unrealistic. The trail blends into the tree line and shrubbery so have fun looking at the blobs of just orange and brown texturing. The gratuitous amounts of chromatic aberration is to thank for that.
[-] There is a rare (for me) audio cut out issue mid stage, still present in the game. CM knows. Sound comes back on next.
[-] You can't reset your career. Why?

If you like rally this game is ok. If you've played DiRT Rally throughly, you're going to be frustrated by this game. To be fair DR was frustrating at the start as well (IMO), but it grew on me and I came to enjoy DR. At the moment D4 doesn't give me the same excitment as DR did once I learned the handling. I've only played this game on simulation so I can't say how the gamer mode feels and maybe just swtiching to that would make this game fun for me. That is not the mode I want to play in though. I've only played Rally and RX so below pertains to those only.

What I like about this game:
  • The randomly generated tracks
  • Career mode has much more detail than DR does
  • RX seems improved from DR
  • FFB feels good, the issue from DR where by alt-tabbing/using the keyboard in the game would reset the soft lock on your wheel is gone.
  • Handling on snow is improved, your car is not skating around like it does in DR
  • Tuning menu has been refined from DR
  • Part durability and repairing the vechicle is more engaging than DR
  • Replay options
  • Lights that don't break easily
  • Land Rush handling feels great on dry tracks

What needs to be improved:
  • The AI times are WR on specific cars/track/difficulty combinations and at other times you can win comfortably
  • No sense of speed. Even at WOT the game just isn't exciting like DR is.
  • Lack of locations. This is made worse by the repetitive track generation.
  • The lack of different tiles the tracks are generated from. Get ready to see the same corner combinations over and over.
  • The default tuning is bad, expect to spend lots of time tuning. This is especially bad when you're completing a Daily where you cannot edit the setups.
  • Multiplayer is dead to pubs. There are people, but you're going to have to find them via the steam discussions, CM forums, or reddit. Don't expect to queue up a race whenever you want.
  • The co-driver callouts. There's a lot to be said on this topic. The callouts can be wrong, they can be given way too late depending on the course, and get ready to hear 'bump' every 2 secs. The excessive bump calls make it hard to not just begin ignoring the callouts.
  • The handling on AU. This could just be me, but I feel as if every car has no traction.
  • Get ready to deal with children as part of your team. Only applies to career mode. Dumb things that drag down your ability to tune the vehicles.
  • Limited save slots for tuning. You get 4 per car. FOUR.
  • CM support just disappeared after release. Zero input from the community taken on issues that were not immediate/obvious bugs.

At this point in time, I can't recommend this game at full price. Wait for a 50% off sale. If you have not played DR, get that instead. This is a sad entry for a Dirt title. Dirt 2 is by far a more exciting game to play than this and you get much more content and tracks. There's a 'Clubs' update that is supposed to be added to this game, I can only hope that CM adds and makes some changes to the game then. I'll recommend this game only if you have every other Dirt title and you just need to have a complete collection, but dont pay full price for it. I give this game a 7 out of 10 assuming you haven't played DR before this.

GRID autosport... what can really be said about this game? Lots, but long story short this game rewards driving skill.

You have to hold the line, work the throttle, and have the patience to wait for the moment to pass. The bs drifting advantage is over. Only in select situations does drifting help. So far as I can describe through play, this game by design cuts down greatly on the demolition derby that was GRID 2. The A.I. is definitely challenging, but that may just be since the driving dynamics are different from other GRID titles so passing wouldn't be as familiar.

The sound of the game has some notable improvements from G2. There are cockpit rattles in various cars. The engine sounds are satisfying, tires, exhust notes, radio chatter...blah blah. It sounds better.

One aspect of the game I am enjoying a lot more are the RaceNet challenges. Again the driving dynamics make this particular game mode great, they take work to complete with platinum medals.

Should you pick this game up? Depends if you're an arcade racer or not.
