Great game with some spectacular graphics. I enjoyed the collectable aspect of the game, It wasn't too hard or too easy to find everything. In the end I played around 16 hours total with minimal help from guides. I completed the game with 100%, so draw your conclusions from that. I was kind of surprised at how gory the game is at times. Body pits, pools of blood..some really messed up stuff in here.

The faults I found were:
-Camera sometimes fights you, tries to focus your view too much, also too much shaky cam! A bit disorienting at times..
-Near the end of the game you finally get your final upgrades of the weapons, so you don't have much time to mess around with them when they're at their best.
-Tombs were shockingly straight forward and contained only one puzzle before reaching the reward. I understand they are "side" missions in this game, but a little more meat on the bones would be appreciated.

I purchased this game when it was 13.99$ on sale.

For the amount I paid, I was pretty satisfied with the game.

The controls took a bit of getting used to, they're different from previous Metal Gear games, and its much easier to be spotted in this game than in previous ones. As a demo, this is a great sample of what to expect in the full game, but I can't help but feel a tiny bit burned by having to pay for this.

Lets face facts: The main meat of this game is the main story mission, which doesn't take very long to complete. The side missions (while fun) are all on the same map as the main mission which leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Most of them seem like they were thrown together in order to justify selling the demo.

I've enjoyed my time playing the game though, thats for sure. I'm very much looking forward to the full release.

If you're a fan of MGS, I would definitely recommend picking it up (when its on sale).

Fun game, but the mechanics for being chased are a bit too transparent in their design. I'd give it more credit if enemies didn't know where I was every single time and only hover/patrol in that small area.

Still, it was pretty scary, almost too much. It forced me to pull myself out of the game experience and view it as a video game in order to tolerate its jump scares. I'd much prefer it if it offered something new as you progressed.

Often times I found myself looping around while being chased in an almost comedic fasion, hoping I'd spot the right "exit" from that "zone" on my next run around.

All in all, its a fun game, but too transparent on how video-gamey it is. Such things distract from an otherwise good game.

Great game, love the feeling that some of the "story" based Escape maps give. Its something I wished the Resident Evil franchise would always embrace when they started adding multiplayer. Headshots are super satisfying and its a great change of pace compared to faster games like Left 4 Dead.

With friends, the game gets elevated to a whole new level. I can't recommend it enough!

I wen't into this game blind off of how man good reviews it had gotten. Chief among them was the GOTY win from Adam Sessler. I really couldn't be more dissapointed in the games story. It has subtle hints that theres something deeper to the story, a mystery to solve but the ending clears any mystery at all and leaves you with the feeling of being cheated.

In the end, if you're into reading about peoples mundane daily lives, then this might be of interest to you, but don't go into it expecting an interesting story. What you get is the brief glimpse into everyday life of a family with no real payoff.

I did enjoy the system they have in place and if the company can make something similar with a better theme and story, I would be glad to play it again, however I'll be sure to read up on the game first to make sure its not like Gone Home.
