To start, I picked up this masterpiece on release for the PS4, and in typical Rockstar fashion the experience it provided influenced me to expand my horizons and purchase it again on my brand new (at the time) PC. This game is not only groundbreaking, revolutionary, and bittersweet; Red Dead Redemption 2 is life-changing. For me specifically, the artwork in everything from the story writing, the beautiful graphic design, and most importantly the music composition has influenced me into my career path, and I can only hope to be part of a project as amazing as RDR2. Despite its differences and controversies, another pattern in Rockstar development, the game provides and checks every single box for an over-arching amazing and jaw dropping experience. An experience that I believe everybody should experience. From the new controller tappers all the way to my fellow mouse and keyboard veterans. I can guarantee Red Dead Redemption 2 will not disappoint given the proper chance it deserves.
