As addicting as crack

Recently I decided to replay this game and finally get the platinum (my first playthrough was on Game Pass). And I still think that this is one of the best RGG games to date. Visually, the game looks stunning. The story is short and to the point (though still has a bit of filler), combat feels fun both as Kiryu Joryu and coliseum fighters (Chicken Man sweeps all). Side content is interesting (pool, mahjong, pocket circuit, etc.). AND THE SOUNDTRACK IS JUST SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PEAK! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMmCfLyo4lw

However the game is not without it's caveats:
- The levelling system is not great. With this game, RGG has introduced a dual currency system for upgrades and it's a bit of a pain in the ass. (Just bring back the Yakuza 4 levelling system RGG);
- Levelling coliseum fighters also takes quite a bit (to a point that I ended up installing a mod to speed it up to avoid doing it again);
- The cabaret minigame taking up like 25% of the game's overall size.

Probably the easiest platinum in the whole series.

Genuinely the best fighting game ever made imo.

While the story was quite mid, the gameplay is some of the best RGG has ever made.
