As a person who played the original AS1 on quest and now has a PC, i got this to see if this would be good, first impressions kinda sucked, but as i got more used to the game, THIS IS GREAT! The dog's cool, one-handed and two-handed weapons at the same time! (The OG AS1 had one-handed weapons and two-handed weapons in seperate game-modes)
The dog is pretty cool, good for saving ammo, (sometimes) and you can pet it!!1!!!1111!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 (Also extra storage for those guns you cant carry but want to keep). The cons for me are, zombies will get behind you and murder you before you even notice (for me thats a skill issue but also it only happened like twice) and the dog's inventory is kinda hard to put weapons in, and the auto-reholstering system (grab one gun from your left holster, the gun on right goes to right, very annoying.)

So for me, like a 7.5/10

(Also, fun fact, the ending of as1 that leads to as2 is kinda weird, so what ive heard is that at the end, the helicopter the protag goes into is controlled by a zombie so he jumps out and walks back to his trailer, kinda weird and i kinda wished that he escaped arizona or smth because it would be so cool for like a different setting? (think like Half-life 1 taking place in new mexico while half-life 2 is in a bulgaria-type place)
