It's a hard game all the way through it, with a need for some build optimization to survive. However it is a fun game with a unique world, great writing, and fun combat puzzles.

Recently beating this game, I can confidently say it is a blast to play. The puzzles were challenging but not obtuse, combat was brutal and felt great to pull off at all points of the game. My favorite combination is to take a stam, reflex, then a beserk then using this power of a Florida methhead, destroy everything using a rapier. Try it out

I find this game to be all around enjoyable. Though it may have some bugs and other issues due to it being an early access, I feel that the community around the game and the fun gameplay itself overshadows the problems.
