I just remembered the cards that I was going to recommend to you, since you didn't like the one for one nature of counterspells: There is Counterbalance, and if it is used with Sensei's Divining Top, it can be very powerful indeed. Powerful, but banned all over the place. However you like to float your boat.

you know what i just realized, there is an objective for the 20th of december, the one for getting 10 objectives, and then logging in. hmmm
