The Jackbox Party Pack 6 is easily the best party pack that Jackbox has made. Every game here is good and for the first time in Jackbox history there isn’t a game you play once and never again.

Trivia Murder Party 2: This is a sequel to one of my favourite games and it’s an improvement in many ways. The last game was quite bland aesthetically, but the new hotel theme is a welcome improvement. They’ve also kept all the great mini-games from the original and added some new, even better ones. The mini-games are a blast to play and it can even be sad when you get a question right and miss out. The new all-answers-right mechanic at the final round was a great addition as well and made the ending a lot more tense. This is a great improvement on an already great game. Will definitely be playing more.

Dictionarium: A lot of people seem to not like this game so I went in with the expectations of it not being great. I was wrong, it’s pretty good. You make definitions for words, then synonyms for that word, and then put it in a sentence. It’s that simple. Games are quick, fast and funny, it never gets old. This is a solid, fun game.

Role Models: This game is epic. First off, being able to use a picture as your avatar is pretty cool and works especially well for a game like this. The game has you choose categories and then you match your friends to ‘roles’ in the categories. The player with the most votes gets the role and you keep playing till each player gets a wacky definition. The scoring system is a bit weird as it’s not really a competitive game, but was still good to have. This game is one of my favourites and I can’t wait to play it again.

Joke Boat: This game is weird. You choose a joke setup with a subject written by someone else and then have to write the rest of the joke. The setups you get can be incredibly hard to write a decent joke from and a lot of the jokes just fall flat. Usually something only gets a laugh if it’s just straight up dumb. This game is still pretty fun though and is probably the most comedic of the pack.

Push the Button: I couldn’t wait to play this game after seeing everyone else's reviews and gameplay. The first few games I played of this were not great. The aliens weren’t using hacks and we were catching them in five minutes. But as we started to get a feel for the game and how to play it started to get really good. It’s like Fakin’ it (my previous favourite Jackbox game), but just so much better. This game is the standout of the pack and is heaps of fun.
