Deltarune is a heartwarming, consistently funny game that tells a really engaging story. The bullet patterns are forgiving, and the game usually shows more grace the more times you die, but there is plenty of challenge for those who seek it, and evben more secrets to find.

A wonderful story-driven collectathon platformer with very good stylised 3D graphics/animation and charming characters throughout.

Fantastic mechanics, amazing accessibility, intriguing story to follow, hours of fun to be had. I appreciate the gameplay even as someone who'd never normally even consider an FPS for entertainment, I truly recommend it to anyone looking for some adrenaline.

It is much too easy to spend time on this game. Do not pick it up when you have many responsibilities or if you get frustrated easily as it's most rewarding when executed perfectly.

Heartily recommend this game to anyone who's got the time - you're likely to want to spend your entire days playing once you're on a roll! The visuals and animations are outstanding - a unique one for nearly every weapon or skill available, lots of fun ways to customise your combat style, very enjoyable and fitting soundtrack, an engaging story that keeps you fighting even if just to see more lore, always a new challenge, something to up the difficulty; and the constant updates that only bring more to explore! On top of all that there are tons of hilarious little interactions between the player character and the world. Truly, the love shines through.

I love it! I recommend this title to anyone who likes bright colours and electronic music - it's a bullet hell, but the entry skill level isn't high, especially with Casual Mode enabled. The story and characters are adorable, very entertaining and have a simple design that lends itself well to a variety of artistic renditions. The replayability is pretty good, more so for achievers who want to 100% the ranks or the achievements, though it gets repetitive after a while - but with the promise of more tracks to be added in the future and the recently released Shovel Knight Mixtape, it manages to keep things fresh enough to come back every once in a while.
It's best played with friends, no matter their gaming experience.
