One of the best stories in gaming period. The base content by itself is at least a 100 hour playthrough, and the two DLCs are basically the same size as any single player game nowadays. All wrapped up in absolutely gorgeous graphics. You need to play this already

You can play Civilization with a controller. And it actually works really well. It's magic.

It takes a little playing to get used to (but stop kidding yourself you play all the time anyways) but the community has made basically a layout for every game that allows optimal scheme control for any game. Feels great, looks great, should be a buy if you game on a computer but would love to sit on a couch

I have been a big fan of the Total War series since Rome I and this is by far my most favorite experience. Although I love the historical settings, the fantasy world has really allowed CA to unleash its imagination. The variation of units, abilities, the introduction of magic- it's all fantastic. The campaign map is beautiful, battles are well done- the AI is not only competent but really difficult for once. This is a great follow up to the greatness of Shogun 2 after the misstep with Rome 2. The DLC is overpriced but if you pick this stuff up on sale the experience is unbelievable.

And remember don't rush minotaurs into halberds.
