the small scale pvp is great. plays similar to dota/albion. lots of content and objectives to fight over.

you'll feed at the start, but if you have any talent for this type of game, you'll be making plays in no time.

gear is relatively cheap and if you're getting at least some kills or assists your economy should be fine.

progression is fast, even a casual player should be able to level up a couple drifters. for the first couple weeks there is a max level which increases daily. if you start late, there are catch up mechanics.

the game is definitely more fun once you join a warband, until then you can just follow your faction around and help them fight and take objectives. people in this game are relatively friendly and helpful towards new players.

your bank and character levels reset with each season. you keep any progress on weapon and drifter infusion, which gives you a minor (3-5% ish) advantage. if you're in a rush, you can spend money to infuse stuff, but just playing the game and contributing to your faction will also get you there.

i'm not aware of any bugs or exploits. there was some emergent gameplay that made it easy to farm rift bosses. rip bushes.
