Excellent game for those looking to scratch that hunting itch. Not so excellent, however, for those looking for a game to digitally explore various types of wilderness and wildlife without the occasional glitch or bug. Call of the Wild is a very enjoyable, very beautiful game that I personally see a great deal of potential in. However, there just isn't much in the way of variety. Most time in the game is spent walking through monotonous, albeit pretty, fields and forests while searching for the same general quarry. I believe that this game is worth the $30 pricetag for what it currently is and I've enjoyed my time with it, but there needs to be a pretty steady flow of new content (weapons, equipment, wildlife, reserves, etc.) in the future if anybody can be expected to continue playing this game for the weeks, months, and years to come.

Pros:
High graphic fidelity
Realistic hunting/stalking systems (or as realistic as possible while still being fun)
Expansive reserves
Great animal AI (aside from minor animation glitches)

Cons:
Very limited equipment, animals, methods of hunting, etc.
Maps are large, but quite monotonous
Minor glitching that can break immersion
Outpost/structure system isn't great and saps a lot of time
