Incredibly fun take on the genre pioneered by Vampire Survivors, with enough new ideas and a significantly different visual style to feel fun and fresh. Highly recommended, especially on PC gaming handhelds.

I don't understand how the whole UI looks like 1080p or worse when you run the game at 4K, even at maxed settings, no DLSS, no dynamic res. Is there any way to fix this in the year of our lord 2025?!?

An absolute joy to play, building on the strong fundamentals of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries but in a more exciting narrative, with faster and stronger mechs customisable in interesting ways. So damn good.

In early access, Hades 2 is already bigger and better than many finished games.

Incredible game. Absolutely dripping with atmosphere with a strong message that adds to, rather than detracting from, the setting. Disassembling spaceships is a great concept, and the progression that you experience starting from the first, basic ships to the more complicated components of later, larger models is brilliant. Loading up a massive ship into the bay, full of hazards, then bringing it rapidly to pieces is such a nice feeling. The epilogue of the game makes me hopeful that we'll see another title in this universe, perhaps with rather different gameplay. Cheers Blackbird, this was awesome.

Very fun and absorbing tactics/RPG game along the same lines as Tactics Ogre on the SNES. Good amount of strategy, enough is explained that you can get into it but some things are left to discover which is nice. The storyline is interesting enough, and the campaign is much longer than I expected for a development team of this size. My only critique is that it's embarrassing to play a game where so many female characters wear revealing or bust-centric outfits, especially those encountered later in the game. Beyond this, the pixel art when you're playing the missions is OK, and generally done to a good standard I'd say, but the larger figures used for cutscenes and conversations feels cheaply done. Still worth playing, but probably best to avoid watching the conversation cutscenes if friends or family are around...

Great game with friends, bit of a miserable solo queue experience as - at least so far - I'm alone more often than I have a squad in trios or duos. Ranked or Arenas tend to have more full games, but often a team member will disconnect before a single round or ring has been completed. A system for replacing disconnected players would be great, as it ends up being a lot of lost time - which is a shame, as the game itself when you do have a squad is quite pleasant.
