The fundamental gameplay is fantastic. Gunplay and movement are great. Weapons are good. Where the game falls short are the embarrassingly small maps, and the capture zones being the size of a shipping containers where they were much bigger in previous games. The most obvious example of this is when you play Operation Firestorm and then play the new maps. It's very clear their design philosophy has changed significantly such that it places Conquest as a low priority for map design. This is made evident by the fact that even on the medium maps, some points are straight up just in side of small buildings, like New Sobek City, which was extremely disappointing. The maps clearly favor CQC when you look at how narrow most maps are like Liberation Peak having funnels and Mirak Valley being nerfed in size to force players to engage more. If you look at Liberation Peak, you can clearly tell that the left side of C was supposed to be more open and they collapsed it down into narrow hallways. Even the flags are all spaced closer together and in mostly straight lines. It's very unfortunate and it feels like a massive over correction from 2042. The three-lane map design that's dominated multiplayer shooters over the past decade has been a massive detriment to gameplay, severely. I hope they release larger maps than the ones we have because most maps don't feel like Battlefield maps, some of them just field like Call of Duty derivatives. Most maps play and flow much better on the more Call of Duty style game modes. For example, Empire State is a god awful map for Conquest, it's an absolute mess and has zero flow or any kind of front line. But where this map plays and flows better is Domination. It's clear to me the developers are favoring a particular demographic and that's very sad because the game itself is really good, but the maps need work. A lot of work. Liberation Peak needs to be redesigned completely, and made wider. Empire State should honestly not even be playable on Conquest at all. New Sobek City is just a CQC map disguised as a medium, open map. It's not. The C cap is extremely claustrophobic and it's done this way deliberately and on purpose for obvious reasons. If any developer is reading this, please just make cap zones a little larger, like 25% bigger than they currently are. This allows for longer firefights and engagements to take place on the capture zone. Right now Conquest is just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ zerg rush where the horde just sprints from one zone to another. It's effectively just worse Domination. It plays very poorly and I hope they make an effort to actually make maps that are...well designed. Right now they are not.

One of the best RTS games I've ever played and I've played many. The amount of content you get for $50 for the premium edition is like nothing you see today with modern games. It feels almost unfair how good value it is. I hope they continue to add more campaign DLC because I'll keep coming back for more.

It's rare that remakes are any good but this is the exception! It exceeds my expectations and is just as fun if not more fun than I remember back in 2005!

It's addictive and mindless blow-em up type fun that we don't really see much of these days, and there's plenty of content to keep you entertained for hours. They improved on every single aspect of the original while maintaining the flavor and integrity of it as well. It really translated well in 2020 and holds up fantastically.

Highly recommended for old and new players alike even if you didn't play the original, it's very well made and I hope they consider remaking the second game!

The only negative is $29.99 is just a *tad* steep, however I don't regret my purchase at all and I'm really happy to support the developers especially if it means we get a remake of Destroy All Humans 2.

Great game. Art is fantastic, animation is insane beautiful, and plays very well. Story and arcade mode is a blast albiet not easy and playing against friends is challenging and fun.

I have not played multiplayer. I don't foresee myself ever playing multiplayer. I am not particularly good at fighting games, and admit it openly. I would get crushed in multiplayer against autists who spend 100's of hours learning the mathematics of each individual character by their precise animation frames and perfect timing. I do not have time for this. I am a full-time working adult 23 year old man. I just want to have fun. Not take Advanced Vector Caluclus to learn the timing of each combination in fighting games.

Dragonball FighterZ is the perfect casual fighting game for me.
