Amazing game with great music and a great story. If you plan on just playing through the main game, you'll have a great time. Unfortunately, the post game content is somewhat abysmal. Everything starts getting way too much health and at that point changing the difficulty doesn't even do anything. Even on story mode a lot of things will just kill you instantly if you even miss two parries. A shining example of a game in today's age, with just a blemish of poor difficulty design for post game content.

Perfect entry into this series. The sequel makes several improvements, but starting here with the story and lore is definitely the way to go.

This game is fun at first. But only at first. Premade groups will destroy this game. You cannot play this game alone.

There will come a time as you play when you ONLY run into premade groups, whether it be a Swat Team 6 Victim team with Captain "Shove everyone around" Leland, or a Swat Team 6 Family team that can pin point exactly which basement stairs you come up and murderize you.

This game already has teabagging at the exits when the Family can do nothing. And when one even tries to do something, Captain Leland just shoves them down, teabags them, and leaves.

So yeah...

Fun at first, but if you play on as a solo player, you'll regret it.

To any new players, this game is just not worth it anymore. Even if you have friends and want to play together, you'll just run into sweaty killers. And if you play killer, you will run into squads of survivors that know exactly what they are doing and you'll have a bad time.

I'm barely wanting to play anymore, but I have a few friends to fall back on and sometimes it's worth it for me. But if you plan on playing this game alone, you will be sorry you did.

There is no option in the game to just explore with your friends without getting bombarded by Player Killer types. They will always find you and they will always ruin your fun.

This game had potential for me, but the global PvP that is always on ruins it constantly. If there was some option to just explore with a band of friends with no interference, I would recommend. But at this point, hell no.
