The game constantly glitches. I had to start over multiple times because checkpoints just were not loading. And once I got past the first section? Forget it. It was impossible to navigate both the boat and the flashlight so I just gave up tbh.

It's an adorable way to pass time! Nice and passive, adorable characters with a wide range of personalities, a really relaxing atmosphere.

Though the first chapter is short, it is just short enough to keep you captivated and wanting more. I've never seen such a short game pack itself with so much intensity and intrigue and I have yet to see a game that keeps me on my toes as much as this one does. I cannot wait for chapter two to come out.

One thing I will criticize though is parts of it are a tad tedious and there is a lot of back and forth. That being said, none of it ever seemed pointless to me. It was all for the sake of story progression and, while it was a tad frustrating at times, not once did it even come close to ruining the experience of the game.

This is probably one of the worst games I have ever played. The graphics are glitchy (my computer screen kept flickering the majority of the time I played it), The instructions for the puzzles are vague illustrations, there is absolutely no dialogue minus the cutscenes for the introduction, the halfway point, and the ending. The way you solve a good portion of the puzzles is essentially clicking everywhere until something works. Not to mention the fact that the game caused so many problems that my computer had to reboot itself roughly 4 times after I installed the game. I actually had to end up doing a virus scan just to make sure that the files weren't bugged or anything.

This game was a part of a bundle that I bought on sale with another game - the one that I was intending to buy - in it. At first glance this game looked interesting and I was pretty excited to try it out. Boy was I wrong. Very few things actually make sense throughout the game. I know it is a fantasy game and things are supposed to be out of the ordinary but the crazy things that you need to do to progress are basically impossible to figure out without the use of a ton of hints. I have never been happier that there is a "skip" feature for all of the minigames because most of them are absolutely unsolvable. The hit boxes for everything are frustratingly small, especially when trying to solve puzzles. The game itself is not that engaging in terms of story and I was bored very quickly but I continued playing to see if it would get any better. It didn't. The cutscenes are long-winded with terrible voice acting and just bad audio as a whole.
The best part? I can't even finish the game. I am stuck in the desert and no matter where I go it tells me "there's nothing to do here" and when I looked up a walkthrough it said that the item I need is in an area that I can no longer interact with because the game is bugged. Do yourself a favor and don't waste money on this game.

Overall, I would have to say that this is one of the most engaging games I've played in this sort of genre. The story keeps you interested and, while the cutscenes may be a little lackluster, the mini games were hard but for the most part stayed with the theme of the game and, minus some language issues (in some locations "keys" and "wrench" were mixed up for some reason?) it was never necessarily impossible. It made me think and it stayed interesting and fairly exciting the entire way through. Some parts were a lot more tricky than others (I reached a point in the game where there were no actions I could perform according to my map) but the game is mostly smooth sailing.

I mean if you're looking to kill a little bit of time with a short point and click style game then go for it. Be warned, though, that this is the most tedious game I have ever played. The constant back and forth really killed it for me and made everything seem more like a chore than an actual experience. Especially since, even in times where the main character claims to be terrified, he is at most going at the speed of a brisk walk. Exits are hard to find and there are a few parts where it is near impossible to figure out what to do or where to go next without mindlessly exploring the entire park and clicking everything in sight. The ending is very abrupt and, for me anyway, just left me wondering why I wasted this much of my time playing a game.

There is one pro though. The duckling is adorable and you get to name him. I named mine Pudge.

While the story is interesting and captivating, I simply wasn't able to play the game. It ran extremely slowly on my computer which, when you're playing a platformer, is incredibly irritating because of the amount of lag it produces. The controls were wonky (probably because of how slowly it was running) and about 80% of the time trying to jump from point A to point B was basically impossible. I really wanted to like this game but it's kind of hard to when progression doesn't seem to be an option.
