It was fun until I got a 50+ gb update. Now its an 80gb game...

There was a time when Nintendo struggled to get their 700kb games to fit on cartridges, now it is acceptable to put out 50gb updates...

I played online with a friend with no issues. You just need to add each other on Ubisoft Connect and it works pretty seamlessly after that.

It’s a great game, but it’s a bad PC port. With a few drag and drop mods/patches the game runs a lot more stable!

Here is a guide to install said mods!

Mods: SR2 Juiced Mod, GoG .exe launcher, GotR Mod (RIP IdiolNinja)

They finally got it right! The old dudes at EA finally talked to people in the actual JDM scene and asked how they would like to customize a car in a video game. The part choice is INSANE! So many great brands were involved in this game. And the sticker / wrap system in the game is amazing and super detailed. I really enjoy the community made wrap section. The multiplayer aspect is really great for the open world, and the ability to jump right into any race with your party instantly is very convenient. I am not extremely far into the story yet but so far I am really loving it! A NFS game with real character development? Now that's impressive. Overall I really like this one, even it was made my EA.

People are complaining that this pack does not have a lot of content in it, but you have to realize that this pack is $1.99 US whereas Mighty Griffin, DAF, and Actros tuning are all $3.99 US. This pack costs the same as some of the holiday paintjob packs, and I think these are much more useful than the holiday paintjob packs. People are also complaining that this pack only has bars in it...when if you did any research at all you would know that HS-Schoch only makes bars for different trucks. That’s their entire company. So what else would be in the pack? And I’m not even going to get into the whole “there are mods that do this better and for free” discussion, because you could say that about every DLC that SCS has ever put out. I buy them all to support the devs, which is something you should think about when you buy any DLC. It helps the devs stay afloat so we can get better DLC in the future.

I'm really into this game, I am currently working on my second house to flip and I can say this game is worth the money. There are a few bugs yes, but I have not run into any game breaking/unpassable glitches or bugs in my 7 hours of playing.

The very beginning jobs can be a bit time consuming, but after you purchase your first house it really gives you a lot of freedom to spend your money how you would like. I think the painting is one of my favorite parts of the game, and recently I have even went to my job (I work at a Ace Hardware) and starting looking through the Valspar paint pamphlets to find color matching ideas and things like that. It has really helped with making my houses look more modern and roomy.

Great game I rate is 8/10, it's a great game to play while watching tv shows or YouTube videos on a second monitor. It's a nice relaxing way to spend a Sunday.

I never really had the ability to play the older Trials games but I have always wanted to, so when I saw this on the store page it was an instant buy from me. I honestly really like playing it! It is a grinding game which is exactly what I like to do on the weekends or if I have a few days off of work. It is a great game to play while listening to music/podcasts or watching YouTube videos on a second monitor/phone.

Gameplay:

Well like I said before I have played very little of Trials in the past, but honestly I feel like this game plays exactly how I have always imagined Trials to play. The maps are very well detailed and creative, and there is a decent amount of skill involved once you get into the higher level maps. I really like how the game controls and how it does not take itself too seriously. I personally like the ghost racers on the screen when you play, I think if anything it motivates me want to get a even faster time. Also people keep complaining about the ending screen with the winning/losing taunts, though I think they might be a bit much, you have to think about how many other games have screens similar to that and they do not have that many complaints...the big one I am thinking of right now is GTA V.

Customization:

I really like the community created clothing/bike parts. I think more games should use the system that is put in place here (though a lot of Ubisoft games that I have played do it as well) I really like looking through the store to see what ridiculous items I can find that were made by other users. Right now I am sporting a laughing emoji bandana on my face and a Flex Tape t-shirt.

Loot Boxes:

Yes loot boxes. BUT they are free and you get them after every level up and they are free to open (no stupid "pay for a key" garbage) and though the items are not always the most unique, you can sell your unwanted items for more in-game currency to buy better community made items.

Music:

Every review I read is putting music at the top like it is a huge talking point. The music is...okay? Like obviously music like everything else in life is based on opinion and personally I think the music is good, but not anything to write home about. Honestly I haven't even really paid attention to the music all that much, nothing has really stood out to me besides "this is your normal music for a motorcycle game". But then again I have been focusing my ears more to other things like podcasts/my own preference of music.

Overall I want to say this, don't let the negative reviews discourage you from a good Trials game, yes it is Uplay, yes there are a few micro transactions, but it is still pretty great, no pay to wins, no crazy new mechanics to learn that differ the game from its older iterations, its a solid game that was made with a lot of love.
