This remaster is very faithful to a heart but I won't lie it gets kind of scary sometimes

Mainstream gamers are just mad its not just another TDD. It's a lot more polished than its predecessor in terms of mechanics and level design and has some frankly really wild gameplay segments incorporating the underutilized theme of pregnancy horror. My only real complaints is that at the very end the story kind of tapers off and I wish they would have gone harder on the bracelet feature because it feels like they forgot about it soon after introducing it. Overall I'm pleased with the game, dont let people being fatalistic about it scare you off.

Fun for the first 20 hours or so until you realize the devs have absolutely no idea how to balance their own game (or even how it works for that matter), refuse to listen to community feedback, and defer balancing or repairing issues in favor of pumping out new paid DLC. The game has deceivingly low variety and most every game plays out exactly the same. All killers have the same tactic (while 80% of them being borderline unusable at higher ranks) and survivors are literally just reskins with different perks to unlock. The only thing there is to do as survivor is hold m1 on generators or get chased, that's literally it. The community is also hands down no contest the worst playerbase of any game I've ever played. The devs are entirely too complacent with this game and lucked out with the Friday the 13th game being stuck in lawsuit hell thereby inheriting its playerbase otherwise the game probably would have been in it's death throes by now.
