Halls of Torment is of course, everything you've read.. Amazing game, fantastic fun, super polished considering where it's at in development, nostalgic graphics, amazing vibe overall. But what it is most, is a game that an ex hardcore gamer turned real life liver, dad be'er, casual weekend warrior or odd week night hero if my kids and wife fall asleep early can actually love and feel like I am playing hardcore again. It feels so clean, the pace is solid, I know the run is very limited and there isn't a whole lot of penalty if I need to just walk away, in fact I will just end up with some more gold. Absolutely the best feature is this. So uncommon to encounter a well done game that I can relive my teenage gaming vibes with. Thanks for that. 10/10 will play again and not annoy wife and kids.
