With mods this game is a 10/10. One of the best games I've ever played.
Without mods the game is a 6/10.

You build/combine: gem towers, powers, talismans, spells and gem bombs to obliterate the never ending swarm of filth.

This game is one of the best solo games that you can install.
Pause whenever, return when you like, collect stuff, shoot stuff, explode stuff, die, repeat, collect some more. Play as Megachad or AMOG(us). A lot of memes and good fun.

Hate it because they said they wouldn't stop developing PoE1, they DID.

Good idea but poorly executed.

Immersion is killed at the very start by joining a "survival" world with pristine glass-wall houses sorrounded by literal moving toys, teddy bears, disco lights, solar panels and 0 threats whatsoever.

Stated as a "survival" game but really isn't. Everything is super easy from the get go even at hard difficulty, even the food/water needs are trivialized very early. Just a chore, nothing more. No threat from monsters, even when you encounter them you just kill all of them in 2 hits, a boss you just shoot at the weak spots and easy kills.

No incentive to play with friends other than entering the occasional "dungeon".

Pretty bad game, 3/10.

Why would you remove solo play? Wtf??

Game is good but I recommend that you buy a dedicated hosted server for your pals so you can play without any issues.

Pros: Fun survival/crafting/gathering game that's not nearly as tedious as project zomboid.
Cons: Some bugs, needs dedicated server hosting, no objectives, no glaring dangers unless you provoke dangers.

There are some bugs like your car bugging out, crashing and being unstuckable.
One thing that's currently missing is an objective. There is just one quest where you restore a radio tower for air drops and that's it. Game needs an incentive, like a main quest towards points of interest where you need to clear hordes of zombies or something.
And perhaps some more immediate danger like wandering hordes of zombies or something.

Better than Vampire Survivors.
That's right, I said it.

Needs more content, 9/10.

Classic stereotype, just like world of warships, descent gameplay but money grabbing.

Excellent game, you can play it casually, sweaty, active, passive, you can follow the storyline (yes it actually has a storyline), you can cheat, earn achievements and all that with a lot of flavor (pun intended). It's amazing, 10/10 idle game. No other idle game is better than this one, prove me wrong, protip, you can't.
