I appreciate that the game is free to play but the micro transactions aren't rammed down your throat. As far as survival based MMO's are concerned, I think the balance is nice. There are lots of resources to be found and as long as you prep a bit you can go a long time without having to worry about getting more food or water. It feels like I can actually play and advance the game rather than constantly worrying about constant upkeep. The game itself is pretty fun but there are a lot of mechanics that are easy to miss. Fortunately there are a lot of resources for help.
