So, I've completed the campaign, both endings finished (you can reload the save before the finale to see the other sequence.)

Let me just start off by saying, Path Tracing and full resolution is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible. I've got to give Capcom credit here, because the scene settings are pure orgasmic.

I don't need to review this in depth, it sits in the top 3 RE's ever made. It's not even a debate. The story switching between Grace and Leon is a direction that Capcom nailed.

If your gut instinct is telling you "wouldn't it be mad if [insert protagonist name here] was in this", you're probably right.

Watch the behind the scenes unlock. The acting, especially for Grace, is why the RE series is above and beyond in modern video game development. You don't see this level of production enough in games today.

Thanks Capcom for also fulfilling the best easter eggs ever. Definitely didn't ♥♥♥♥ myself and then laughing when I heard and saw Tofu 😂

Played squads, you win some, you lose some.

Played solos, went in with zero gear, ended up in a squad of 8 solo players with hilarious proximity comms, dropped me free olives and an Osprey, fought a Leaper that jumped on all of us, all downed in a jerk circle laughing.

10/10, hands down the most well-pulled off solo extraction experience I've ever had.

Thank you Embark Studios, do not let this amazing game go.

Maybe Randy Pitchford should buy this instead of fat-fingering anti-consumer drivel on socials regarding "premium" UE5 performance.

Even though fog being used in the original SH series was to boost performance, clearly we need nuclear reactors to handle it now. Still, this is what "premium" looks like. It's a beautiful game in all the right ways.

I know we shouldn't have to do this, but:

1) Go here in your Windows Explorer:
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 4\Saved\Config\Windows\

2) Download a customised Engine.ini from NexusMods (/borderlands4/mods/13)

Put that Engine.ini in the above folder. I went from 60fps and stutters to virtually zero stuttering and around 110-/+ FPS just like that.

It still needs optimising from a Unreal Engine Editor perspective, but this has fixed a lot of issues for me.

The real PayDay was for this incompetent studio, and the biggest heist was on you: The Consumer.

Flew on a Shrek and slapped muggles silly. 10/10.
