Quick review: *Squeals like a schoolgirl*

Longer review: Kojima has done it again. Put that Decima engine to good use and delivered what, in the hour I've played so far, an above average performant display. I'll update this after I get more gameplay under my belt, but some highlights:
-Industry leading acting and directing.
-Fantastic performance.
-Great sound design and music choice, despite it not being a style I'd listen to in pretty much any other context.
-What seems to be a solid upgrade to the core gameplay experience.
-For those who didn't play walking/courier/ghost avoiding simulator 1.0, has a great recap feature to get you up to speed fast.
-Lou is still super cute.

Downsides:
-Sony and their amazing, not short sighted nor disappointing decision to cut back on high level PC ports in the future.
-Not being able to thank Kojima in person for somehow delivering games with such a high standard of quality over the years
-I had to wait to play this and actively avoid any spoilers since the PS5 release.
-I can only give this a single thumbs up when reviewing it.

UPDATE: Ya, It's amazing, 'nuff said until I say more

I did not realize just how sterile and lifeless Arc Raiders was/is until I booted this up and saw what Bungie has created. Colorful, performant, dripping with charm, well acted, amazing feel to the guns, sound that really sells it, and controls that feel perfectly natural. Bungie really hit the mark with this one.

Good balance between something like Tarkov and Arc as far as extraction elements go. Tarkov only because the weapons seem a bit less hit-scany

They changed some things, no doubt about that. But once I adapted and the reasoning became clearer, I 100% think they made the right choice.
10/10 would cheese again

I played the demo when it first released and it didn't quite draw me in. Decided to give the game another chance and wow, should have played this ages ago. BOTW meets Shadow of the Colossus meets old school Bioware.

100%/10 recommended. Would light myself on fire again

Loved the first, this one is shaping up to be just as much as a banger.

Would undersell items 30 times again

I need a built in timer with this game so I can notice easier when it's sucking all my time up. Tons of fun, barely any helpful feedback from me though. Keep it up and gl

Much better than 3rd game so far, looking forward to playing more.

NOTE: I am playing on linux, not windows. When I played on Windows there were significant performance/stuttering issues that I just don't have on CachyOS. Your experience is probably going to be different if you're not on CachyOS.

Solid shooting mechanics with a cool vibe and some unique gameplay and roguelike elements to boot. Nice and challenging too. Really happy with the purhcase.

10/10 Would get noticed by the Witch again

I'd go so far as to say this is one S.... sweet game.
