I was already pretty excited for this ahead of time, just for a modern turn based RPG. Was not expecting to have all of my expectations exceeded. An absolute must play for RPG fans, imo. Beautiful graphics, unique interesting world and lore, absolutely stellar performances by the voice cast, great interactive combat, challenging encounters, and a ton of character build customization.

Its not perfect, not a huge fan of the character menu UI and I think there are some glaring battle balance issues, but those are about the only faults I can find with it.

I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. I saw all my friends playing and just though "Oh boy, another survival builder game." Cue eyeroll.

However, after finally breaking down to just play a game with friends, I actually really enjoy it. Of course, it is early access and things aren't optimized, but overall the game is a delight.

Beautiful. Wonderful soundtrack. Emotional. Moderately challenging platformer elements. Beautiful. MY GOD ITS SO BEAUTIFUL. On the last 'dungeon' now with 100% in all areas.. Highly recommend. More than worth the $20.
