After initially trying this game back at launch and falling off for whatever reason I had at the time, I started playing again due to a hankering for post apocalyptic exploration and I'm glad I did.

While by no means a perfect game there is so much to explore, build, conquer and understand. The depth of story not directly related to the PC is highly entertaining and can lead to surprising diversions and discoveries.

I'll be playing this for a good few hundred hours that's for certain...

Unlike the only other Souls game I've played (Demon Souls; prepare to die edition) this doesn't feel like it is just trying to punish me. I've been enjoying playing through the starting areas, even though I'm not great at it and learning the play methods as I go. Definitely a good game with lots of scope to grow into.

I bought it after the 1.5 update. Pretty good story line, enough so that I wanted to play each of the major endings and go through all the side jobs to try and make everyone's stories finish "nicely". Looks fantastic on a decent rig and Night City is fairly alive if not entirely.
