It is fun, it is engaging and I love this game, the fast paced action and by the Nine Divine i love the banger soundtrack made by Danger. I'm usually not that big on roguelike games but this one really makes me want to play it nonstop. If roguelikes are your thing or even if you wanna give them a try get it, now 🫵

I simply love the style and feel of this game, the movement is smooth and once you learn how to do the more advanced moves it really feels rewarding. Combat is simple but entertaining.

Its a really great game. The characters, story and puzzles are very entertaining and can really give you a challenge.

I don't usually indulge in this kinds of games, but the trailer and soundtrack just sold me out. After 30 minutes of gameplay I was already hooked. I love the game, I love everything about it, the visuals, the atmosphere, enemy design, npc's and the main character just looks so badass, like ffs, he's called The Penitent One and wears a kickass mask, what more do you want!

I'm usually not the type that plays strategy games or games that focus on micromanagement, but by God I loved this game from the moment I heard about it. Where to begin? I like how it presents the challenges of colonizing Mars and Terraforming it, the graphics, camera controls, soundtrack and art direction. It's a really refreshing game that starts easy but really gets your brain working later one.

Totally recommend it for prospective Mars colonists and space lovers!

A really interesting and fun game. I absolutely love the characters and art!

Knew of this game for a while from my friends. And now that I got my hands on it, I'm having so much fun playing it!
The color palette, characters, voice lines and story are so cute, fresh feeling and energizing! Makes me feel like im 12 again and without any worries.

It's a really fun game and I for one enjoy everything it has, even if most of the game is just travelling from station to station, system to system, taking your time to get to that 200K Ls farway station or the grind. I love the game. I love the grind and I love the travel. For now, its the only perfect Space Sim game for me. And it's also fun to read the complaints of other people who should just enjoy the game.

I finished Night in the Woods for the first time and I am already on my second playthrough to get the rest of the achievements. First, I must thank my friend who gifted me this amazing game (which i eyed from the beggining when it was released on steam) and secondly I must thank everyone that contributed in creating it. It helped me get through an emotionally hard time this week.

Onto deeper thoughts:
- Visually I love the art style of the game, beautiful color palettes all around, really vibrant and radiating of happiness (and in some cases mystery or horror).
- The soundtrack is very well crafted and synced with the events and the switch from one song to another is almost undiscernable and very smooth, withouth breaking the immersion.
- Immersion! This game pulls you in it's world right from the beggining. The characters, dialogue, story, visual arrangement and soundtrack placement are so well done you forget you're playing a game.

Some cons:
- Even if you take your time to explore every corner of the game, listen to all the characters and what they have to say and complete all the events in 1 playthrough, the game (for me) felt too short, and I in general hate it when games end and the immersion is finally broken.
- They could have extended the play-time by adding more chapters until the end of the games so you could complete all events in just 1 playthrough rather than more.
- As someone who is playing the game a second time, I wish the game would have a mechanic where it would be slightly different, such as the dialogue options are changed or some events, as the game knows you finished it once. Or just have multiple endings ?
- If you are bad at games such as Guitar Hero it will be absolutely terrifyingly hard to 100% the game since the Maestro achievement will be near impossible to get, considering how hard the songs are to play. Wish the devs could add levels of difficulty to it that you can select.

But in the end the pros outweight the cons (which are more my selfish desires) and I would totally reccommend this game to any friend of mine that likes such types of story-driven adventures.

I hope (even if it amy take a really long time, which i have) that we may see in the far future a possible continuation of this adventure, where many of our unaswered questions amy find peace.

P.S. Mae rulz! I love all the different expressions she has the ability to portray and she is such an interesting and story-rich character that you will deffinitely fall in love with!

No idea why the other guys are complaining about the game.
For me it worked perfect.
It's true that you have to set the FPS from the options to Max instead of 30 as it comes set.
After that I had no trouble with stuttering or lag or anything, since the game set itself according to my hardware to Medium Graphic Details.

I had quite the pleasant experience for the 0.9 hour I played the game where I discovered 3 animal species, some plants, an alien relic and mined stuff.

I really like the game, and for the moment it is as I expected it to be :D
