This has ended up becoming a tonne of fun, even solo.
Expect to die to the first thing that moves several times before you start to win.

Had an awkward encounter with another player at opposite ends of a hallway, unsure as to whether he would kill me (as he easily could have, but he didn't know that), I tapped crouch several times. He responded in kind. We faced each other and slowly made our way to the opposite ends of the hallway, never taking our eyes off one another. Another friendly double-tap crouch and we were both on our way peacefully. 10/10

SUPER easy to just jump in for a quick game.

New world scratches my open world pvp itch, and my comfy gathering itch.
The same feelings runescape gave me 20 years ago, this is gonna be my mmo from now on.
