My PC is around the recommended specs, yet I spent 2 hours just tweaking the graphic options, trying to make this game work. After bringing the quality to Skyrim level (the original, not any HD remasteer), I managed to play the first intro mission. The second one crashed with "game error, please restart the game and computer" at first, then on another attempt just crashed my whole OS. IDK what monster of a machine you need to actually run this game, or how poorly optimized it is, but if your specs are also near the recommended ones, don't even bother. Luckily I still have 4 minutes of playtime left to be eligible for the refund.

Ha, after so many years the annoying launcher is gone and I can launch the game normally without bypassing it! Still a great game, get it on sale or sth and enjoy until 7 comes out.

14 years after original hit the shelves I'm still playing and Ed is still updating the game. If that ain't labor of love, I don't know what is.
