It is really interesting in the beginning and I was hooked.
Story is okay, if mostly predictable. I was entertained, so no problem.
What I did not like were the knife fights in general, as some others said the outcome did not even reflect my performance anyway, and I did also not fully understand what all the actions do.. I just parried when they attacked, followed by two slices.. won me everything, I just had to dodge if they do the shiny move.. Boring, and not engaging.
Then there were these "open world" systems.. like the shop you visit early and actually just get by a second time. nothing is worth it, you just find what you need anyway. I bought a car once, but drove the car that was given by the story 95% of the time. The only decision that was at least noticable was the knife in the beginning. And even that is not really important.
Just scrap all this stuff if it isn't used anyway - the game is no open world game and it does not need it, it would be much better off, if you just don't bother putting it in.
The worst thing was the last "fight". No details here, but there are quicktime events in which you need to press a button quickly. I played with game pad and after two failed attempts my thumb was just too tired to press that often. So I switched to keyboard, checked which button is used, reassigned it to space bar, so i can press with both hands, then won. Are you crazy? I never had to switch my input device and reassign keys, just to be able to pass a quick time event. I am really mad, writing this with a numb thumb.
So, as I finished the game it is not totally bad obviously, I just really hated the things I mentioned here.

TL'DR: Remove the "open world" stuff, remove or repair the knife fights.. i don't know what to do about the last fight.. just let the person die before it. I'd prefer that as an ending.
