I ate a wall of bone and flesh and it cured all of my cats of every disease and disorder they had. This is the only game I have ever bought on launch and I don't regret it.

Very cute and short 2D platformer with a fun unique gameplay style and DKC-esque pre-rendered SNES graphics. The game's unique, quick play-style makes it fun, and at times challenging. It also has some fun additional bonus challenges and characters that are just as fun as the base game! For the price it's an amazing game, definitely worth full price.

Incredibly basic and one-dimensional platformer with shoddy pixel art, and sometimes incredibly ugly "graphics" (in reference to the sometimes charming, but mostly agonizing, background art).

The gameplay loop in the main game mode, Classic, is mostly left clicking in a boring pattern so you won't fall into the endless expanse of space. What makes an already boring game frustrating, is that Nyan Cat's jump feels mushy and floaty, though you'd expect a floaty jump to be somewhat high whereas Nyan Cat can barely get up off the ground even with a double jump. The "power-ups" usually don't add anything to the gameplay, or last so little that they often don't do anything (Nyan Love in particular), and for the ones that do, they're incredibly rare. There are 2 power-ups that grant you flight and they both act in the same way, just with different skins, and the fact that both of them are very common means that you'll be flying for a good chunk of the game not even interacting with the gameplay at all. Even if a power-up that does change the game in a somewhat meaningful way does appear, good luck navigating to it with Nyan Cat's pathetic double jump.

The other four game modes are either just boring clones of classic mode that don't add much, or boring clones of games that already existed. The only game mode worth mentioning is Universe, where you're on a time limit and you have to collect rainbow batteries to progress to the next universe. However the only change between universes is the background art, which means that it gets bland as quickly, if not more quickly, than Classic.

The only thing I found myself enjoying is the Nyan Editor, making my own Nyan Cat-esque thing and playing as it in the game is quite fun, and the editor is actually quite solid. I especially like how you can also customise the trail, and the hero cape for when you get the Supernyan power-up. I also liked how the Adrenaline(nyan?) power-up challenged my platforming skill by bringing up the pace by a good margin, and testing my ability to plan ahead and to perform tight and tricky jumps. That's everything good I have to say about the game however.

Some closing notes, because I would like to mention that this game is based on a flash game of the same name, but not only does the original flash game that this game is based on not look as garishly ugly as this shoddy steam release, but it also doesn't overstay it's welcome because it was, like I said, a flash game. A timewaster you'd spend 10 minutes on. Saying that your game feels better than a flash game isn't much of a compliment, which makes saying your game feels worse than a flash game an even more brutal criticism.

The base price of 18 PLN is too much for this mediocre rip-off of a flash game, and so is the sale price of 9 PLN. The only reason for someone to buy this game is to idle for 2 hours, so they can buy the Points Shop items.

Stardew Valley was the catalyst for the indie cozy game trend, and it remains the best of its genre 9 years after, due to its: consistent updates, large community, and frequent developer interaction.

One of the game's biggest strengths however, is how it builds upon the ideas of it's inspiration Harvest Moon and improves them, while developing its own ideas; all of this is executed with many layers of polish, and it all flourishes with detail and mechanical depth. All of this is complimented by the incredibly low system requirements, allowing anyone on any piece of hardware to enjoy Stardew Valley.

The game allows you to play however you want, there's no wrong way to play the game. You can develop your farm, harvesting more crops and creating more produce, or start a family with one of the 12 bachelors and bachelorettes. You could fish by the river and sell tons of fish, or explore caverns filled with monsters and loot. The list is near endless, and I have barely experienced any of it.

It's one of the highest-selling, and highest rated, games on Steam for a good reason. It's absolutely worth every penny, and I'd pay so much more for it. Buy Stardew Valley, now. I am not asking.

One of the most useful and reliable pieces of open-source software, and nothing really compares to OBS' quality, not even anything proprietary. It's up there with FFmpeg and Blender as the best open-source software.
