Assassins Creed meets Lord of the Rings! Great game.

recommend this game, but if you are trying to use a hotas, expect some serious work ahead of you. Frankly the control settings are total pants. If anyone knows how to unbind a control, please let me know while I still have some hair left to pull out!

Ok, back to the game. Don't expect a lot of hand holding. You basically have to go out there and do your thing, be it trading, combat or piracy. I have not dug deep into the game yet, so consider this review a work in progress. I'll update more later.

Edit 1 - this is a great game, let down by a really frustraiting control scheme, and a whole slew of bugs. hopefully the patches start coming in soon...

great, as long as you want your movies in a fixed HD/720 or 4K aspect ratio. However, they removed the ability from earlier versions to render to a custom screen size and i record on an ultrawide, and want to render in the same ratio. so this is useless to me now, and because I took more than 2 hours to discover this fact, Steam won't refund me...

great game. but if you have a rift then reinstall this game now! and install the quake2 vr mod. Just do it! Trust me!

Ok, i'm changing my review. This is not so much DLC, but more like the other half of the game. If you buy Elite then you really need to buy this too. I still think it was a bit overpriced when I paid the origonal price for the main game, but seeing as you can find both for 60 bucks these days, then it's a good deal.

Not a bad little game. Reminds me of the Galaxies on fire games.

I have this for my xbox 360, which I don't use any more, so I figured i'd pick it up on PC. Well, it is still a good game, but graphics have not aged well. Not sure why, but i'm getting really badly pixellated textures. Still work getting on sale though.

I love this game, but for some reason I get motion sick playing it. This is the only game that does this to me. Probably something to do with the constantly animated backgrounds?

Still, well worth playing, even though I have to do it in small doses!

So, I can't say this is a great game for 60 bucks. Maybe wait for a sale. The problem is, there isn't really much of a game there at all. You get to fly over a landscape (at a minimum fixed height - no skimming low over the landscape at high speed allowed. And no crashing, which takes the fun out of it too). Lots to explore, except it all starts to look very similar after a while. I think if i stick with it, it'll open up more.

EDIT - This game is growing on me. If you are expecting anything other than an exploration game, you're going to be disappointed. At the time of this edit, I’ve got around 34 hours of play under my belt. It does get frustrating at times, but stick with it.

It's not a great game, but it is a great experience...

EDIT 2 - OMG. This game has no depth. It's repetitive and I should have been done with it ages ago. So why is it so addictive??! 116 hours and counting...

EDIT 3 - Base Building. Nice Idea, but it's buggy beyond belief. I return to my base to find rooms that were connected are no longer. Stairs are missing, preventing my from reaching the upper levels. I'm getting tired of messing with this game. I'll check back after a few patches.

EDIT 4 - I play this game every damn day, although mainly on my PS5 account. I think i'm addicted - send help!
