I picked this game up knowing full well it is in Early Release and literally just released(Shocking how many people can't understand that concept).

It is an interesting take on base building survival, and colony sim like game. I am greatly enjoying it. It feels like a nice easy going pace. To me hunger and thirst hasn't been much of an issue. I can't walk 5 feet w/o stumbling on a berry bush or natural water collection(NOT A COMPLAINT!).

It does have *some* feel to certain other Norse inspired survival games but not like it at all. Resource gathering and base building hasnt been much of an issue for me.

My biggest points of contention so far are lack of fine grain customization of what happens like events, spwan rates, difficulties but not game breaking requirement at all. Kinda shocked how many people are upset over the lack of that out of he gate. My other issue is weird way to heal, sleeping + eating onions and garlic will help heal you but maybe something more potent in the future would be great. Terraforming/Leveling is a little weird and takes getting used to.

To the Dev(s). This is a beautiful game. The graphics are wicked nice, though lil grainy and over sharp in some areas. I am having a great time with the game. I can't wait to see more additions and the growth of the game. Ignore the whiny trolls and take it one feature and bug request at a time!

It is quite an adorable tile/city building game. No real pressure to compete or worrying about micromanaging the stupidest things like how much culture cities are generating. Just play tiles and city pieces, earns lots of points, enjoy the scenery, and pretty chill music.

I hope to see more from the game but not evolve into Micromanagement simulator like others are.

I got more than I bargained for. I assumed it would be just rednecks in space breaking down ships, dealing with hazards, and just rinse and repeat. I was not ready for a story, nor was I ready for a parental/father figure to try and help and be very emotionally touching and stirring. The game def is fun, challenging, and scratches an in itch in my mind that makes a game good. It is a short game if you just stick to the story but plenty to do after the fact just breaking down the ships but the story and social commentary really hit something in me and was left really emotional at the end.

Strongly suggest having people to play with unlike me. Pick up groups / randoms are wicked hit or miss. Team work is a big component.

Valheim is wicked great game. Yes it could be described as Norse Minecraft but it is so much more than that and still forgiving and challenging. I've enjoyed it so far and I'm only past the first boss, barely into black forest. I can't wait to see the rest and hope Devs keep creating more content and polish

No matter what settings, options, controllers, or game input, the game is unplayable. Controls are too wonky and unable to drive. The moment you hit dirt you spin out into space and cannot recover. No matter how you tune it makes no changes to car.

Honestly overall I enjoy every game by Bethesda including Fallout and Skyrim. However, time and time again. New Vegas, Fallout 4, Skyrim, all of which will crash on you. You better keep up on your quicksave/autosave game cause I just lost 8 hours of game play which is impressive how did I lose that and not one trigger autosave?. Whole settlement I Setup gone. No Mods, only DLC. Anyway time to uninstall and put back on the virtual shelf for another year. It's game ruining bugs like this that make me regret gaming.

This is an ok simulation game. It does not have much depth. Not bad for a once through and a quick play but nothing special.
