The UI is perfect, so easy to quickly snap together factory pieces. I also love that you can dismantle and re-build large chunks of your factory so easily and without regret. You will complete a goal and then no longer have need for the factory producing the shape, so you remove it to tackle the next challenge, which feels refreshing vs dealing with lots of spaghetti legacy belts. You can save all your ideas as blue prints meaning getting the next part of the factory setup is quick :)

Scratches the progressing and bigger numbers itch. The prestige system is rewarding and the upgrades introduce new fun mechanics. Also once you've bought the game, that is it, no in game currency :)

I think it has potential; but I find it a red flag when you currently have to manually do a lot of the crafting and pause every 5 seconds to ensure everything is working correctly. They need to balance the battery and fire production. EVERYTHING relies on fire (2 stone combined, + 1 coal, combine) which is extremely tedious and you need to devote the majority of your robots to just produce batteries and fire. Also until you get furances you might as well manually light bonfires as trying to automate keeping up multiple bonfires is very risky. A robot command such as find nearest entity with a storage count less than X would be useful instead of having to hard code every single bonfire. The speed the bonfires deplete as well as the battery depletion rate means you have to micromanage far too much for this to be a true automation game. I think the developers need to review the balancing; increase the production chains (there are only a few levels) but make the battery, fire and bonfire more forgiving. As mentioned, I can see the potential of the game, but I think it needs more content and more forgiving balancing

Factorio meets Satisfactory meets No Man Sky. Building your base is great fun, having outposts and transporting resources between planets is a break through! It is like playing Factorio renewed
