Played this game for like 40 hours arround 10 years ago and downloaded it again to play arcade which is the only part of this game which is bearable. Tried to play the normal dota and now there is a mode for new players to play with other new players and faster mechanics which is only bots and you even have to wait in queue for 2 minutes. My biggest let down is that after 10 years not playing this game i came back tried to play a normal game and instantly got flamed cause i was propably doing something wrong. Tried to chat to ask the more experianced players what to do and it seems my communication score is low so i cant even chat and i sat there getting flamed with no info on what to do. Also while writing this i clicked accept match (somehow it didnt get accepted) and now i am banned for 15 minutes and cant join the queue...

EDIT: After trying to give the game a shot anyway and slowing climbing on the communication score by getting arround 200 score every 15 games. (I started at 5.000 communication score).
The last update stoped at 5950. 50 Points away from being able to chat. 4 games before the last update of the communication score. I joined a game and the game crashed since no one was able to pick ( They had some issue with their updates) and i got an abandoned match. So i lost 400 score and now i have to play another 30 games. Also my game usally consist of bad players that i have to carry. Most of my games i get mvp and i am getting commended from 3-8 players. Even this way my communication and in-game score doesnt rise at all. Even tho the game says if you play better ward support and etc you get better communication score.

Edit: This game keeps getting worse and worse and worse. It literally wants me to hate it. I started playing rank and doing like 6-0 without even using the chat (since my communication score is low). Playing hard supports and carrying my games. And i still get no + in communication and behavior score i only lose. When you play a normal game and you click accept if you alt+tab when its your turn to pick or game starts it just pops up. This one doesnt work in ranked. So i have 2 abandons in ranked cause i didnt pick my hero cause the game didnt pop up which lose me mmr. So after getting those abandons ( in between i carried 4 games) . I have to play 2 games on a mode called single pick mode. Which i have to choose only from 4 heroes. Since i am new player I wont be getting the heroes i know so i get new random heroes which i cant carry to win those 2 games. Why this is important? Other than on the queue i click accept match 10-15 times before getting in a game cause people fail to connect. I get 2-3 leavers in each game. And all my teemates and enemy team are just the worst of the worst players. So cause i didnt pick a hero 2 times cause of a mistake. I have to win to games in a mode with a hero i dont know playing with the worst players on the whole of dota. And having leavers on my team. People that propably can only play this mode and need to play over 200 games to be even able to play normal games. I have to play with those people cause i didnt pick a hero 2 times. I have to play with people that troll/feed/grief/leave games. This game wants to praise that its not toxic. And has 290342923 systems for not being toxic. But those systems make evne the most calm player toxic. 200 Hours in this game and i have become the most toxic player. Also another dump ♥♥♥♥ i wont understand. If you fail to accept games and you get a penalty and you cant join games for some time. Why the hell i cant join custom games? Whats the logic here?

Update 3/27/2026.
The game keeps getting worse and worse and worse.
I only play supports which of course its a needed role so i never had to play anything else. With the new update the needed roles changed from the supports to support and off lane. While doing that they did delete all the tokens you amass so you can play any role you want. So i am forced to play all potitions games. It was supposed to match you with lower rank people if you play a role for the first time. But i have to play carrys for the first time which i cant last hit. With the same rank people i was as a support. So if i want to keep playing as a support i have to play other roles first. Which i am too high of a rank to play them for the first time. So i am locked out of ranked until i fully learn on the rank i am to play the other roles. ( Mind you it hasnt have to do with knowing all the champions and etc. It has to do with actively learning the mechanics of a new role.)

Wouldn't recommend. Supposed to be a pixelated idle game that i should be able to run on the background while playing something else. But i am 1 hour in playing the first stages that have like 5 buttons and this game consumes 100% of my cpu and any other game is unplayable.
