So, Im pretty conflicted on where to rate Tekken 8 right now.
The rampant over-monetization screams out of touch of what the community wanted or needed out of a game most people spent 100 dollars on. However i think the gameplay itself is some of the most fun ive had in a fighting game in years.
Im worried with 0.4 and 0.5 patches announced that the game is going to over nerf/tune everyone/mechanics instead of fine tuning the few actual issues.
I love the game, but I dont know if Ill being playing in a year, and that is why i dont recommend it in the end.

I really wish this game had the playerbase it needs, but several issues have chased away most of the already small playerbase. This couldve been slowed down by having crossplat, but it doesnt.

Game severely needs an update and i dont mean stadium stampede, cause there arent enough players left to form a lobby for it when it does come. Balance the abilities, make leaving/blackscreening actually penalized.

the actual game play itself is SO fun, but a lack of modern response time and lack of content really kills this game.

Id have bought it when it went on sale and pass otherwise if i knew beforehand, which sucks cause ive waited 3 years for it.

Probably the best fighting game in the last decade, glad tekken is back on top.

If you can deal with some bugs its a great game that sucks you in I played for a whole night without noticing.
