Chill game good to play in an evening

What can I say about this game other than it is a masterpiece. I can't highly recommend this enough for the story, game play and overall presentation. Give it a go.

I liked this game, after finishing it I really can't say what its about entirely. But I enjoyed the world building, style and the encounters with enemies. for its 3-4 hour run time its a good game.

Gave this game a good go. What is there is a polished but frustrating game. If you like games like Alt-F4 or any sort of rage game then this one might be worth giving a go. Also can make you a bit dizzy.

Very promising immersive sim, incredible its only been made by 2 people. Has a few bugs here and there, but devs are locked into fixing them. Look forward to the full game! Recommend.

Elden Ring Nightreign is the first souls like game I've played from FROMSOFTWARE. I've always taken an interest to the genre and games, but personally I do not have the patience to play through the long, tedious and overtly difficult solo experience of say Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Nightreign however solves those two issues.

Firstly, being able to play with friends has made the difficulty more manageable and enjoyable for me as I’ve always preferred co-op experiences in PVE games. Having friends to continue the boss fight say gives you that second chance you do not get in a solo experience. This has allowed me to get to gripes with the game a lot easier than in a solo experience. Having the room to fail a bit more and have my friends teach me the ropes has been paramount to me dipping my toes in the souls like genre.

Secondly, the fact each “run” only takes at most an hour gives me a short but sweet injection of the souls like style of gameplay, levelling up, getting gear and then take on the final boss. Much prefer this to than to spending hours and hours trawling through a 30+ hour solo experience.

My only real complaints are:
- Jumping needs to be improved, just make the height of the jump a little higher.
- Some bosses feel like sponges taking forever to do damage to.

Overall, have enjoyed my time with Elden Ring Nightreign and will continue to play it no doubt. While I will not be playing any of the other games in the series, I can completely understand the appeal and hype about the genre. For those like me who are curious about the souls genre and want to try something a little less demanding, Elden Ring Nightreign is a great game to play to satisfy that itch.

Worked well on Linux, if you like games like this give SKIP a go.

An interesting game. Lovely visuals and Audio. However, some questionable game play choices were made. One example being the use of physics for some of the puzzles, found some of them frustrating. Also the character would sometimes get stuck on the environment, further frustration. Otherwise a solid game with a short run time which I did like. Overall positive, but some rough edges to be found.

Played this on the PS3 back in the day. Steam version just as good. Highly recommend, works great on the Steam deck!
