Hob is a fantastic adventure game where you make your way out to restore a corrupted land. Solve puzzles, explore areas, find hidden objects, fight enemies. Upgrade your character with gems you find, and your tool to get new abilities as the game progress.
However it does have some issues where a few times enemies would glitch or my character would respawn for no apparent reason. The fixed camera could be better at a few places.
Nothing game breaking at least on my playthrough but worth mentioning.

I play usually with m+kb but picked up a controller for this as recommended. It was easy to get a hang of and the controls felt fluid and responsive for the most part. It might be me being inexperienced with joysticks, but sometimes the character would jump away from where I wanted to go, meaning I didn't grab the ledge and/or fell to my death.

All in all Hob is a work of art with beautifully crafted landscapes and audio work, and a very enjoyable game with the adventure it gives you.
