I've only played a bit.. nevermind, the play time is over 339 hours alread ;) yes, the games great and is still getting updates despite the age. It's not for you if you are looking for realistic graphics, but if you are fine with retro look, the game has awesome depth. There are many ways to play the game and you set your own goals for most part. Things can be taken at your own pace, so this is a great game to relax - and especially to play with your friends or family, as you can split up to do different things or do them together.

Though graphics aren't the greatest and each biome has limited variation of enemies etc, the gameplay is pretty solid. I would recommend trying to play with more immersive settings once you get the hang of the game mechanics (no need to finish up first). And given that I've got more than 400h playtime out of it, even if the game has frustrated me beyond measure sometimes (ashlands), it's great fun to play with others.

There is a lot of humour included, and plenty to do even after "finishing" the game.
