no doubt, especially on niche spaces honestly. not to discard the many amusing figures out of mundanely popular spaces, but there's just this kind of eccentricity and weirdness of the bad kind that at least to me seems to take place in any niche place. all i can say for certain is just how high the human ego can go, even if there's absolutely no reward for it. like, i imagine mod comms aren't exactly raising bank accounts to record highs, and some of the worst behaviour, like from Yoru and that guy behind the original Helms Deep, come from absolutely zero gain besides bragging rights

also, absolutely not surprising but still sucks to hear that you got death threats out of your modding. wish i could say something greater, but best of luck with these idiots, and don't let the bastards grind you down :>

the internet tends to be filled with colorful individuals and this niche space is no exception, hell.. i even got myself a few death threats over my mods in the past

best to just block these people out entirely rather than engage any further, you're never gonna convince them any other way

Anyhow, I am still interested in pursuing several commissions that I'd be more than happy to pay for, either through Steam purchases or Epic Games purchases as well. Perhaps a different method is also fine, I'd be willing to try. I will look into getting my Paypal account back up and running too, if that is still the preferred payment method. My mistake, sorry about that, I'm writing here just so that you know your words weren't un-appreciated. Not only the exact opposite, I do greatly appreciate your time to type that message, but also I think you might have hit the nail on the head with one explanation. Phishing, I think I was duped somewhere. I recall an email, something about needing to confirm my bank account with Paypal within a short window of time. I panicked, and I believe I confirmed it, which led to the scenario of me losing over $100. I'm not totally committed to that, as I don't know for sure if I did confirm it or not, but that cash is still missing so that's got to be it.

I honestly do not know, all of a sudden I get a message from paypal saying that I've added a bank account I never heard of, and that they transferred $102 from my actual bank account into that account. There wasn't even a waiting period, it was already done. I'm no techy guy, far from it, so I reported the incident, and the gist was that I was out of luck, nothing they could do. Not going to lie, that one stung a bit, but live to fight another day right?

I've had a number of ideas surrounding voice mods ever since seeing your work here. I'm hoping I can commission you for them, but I feel the need to be upfront, my paypal was hacked and I lost a substantial amount of money from it, so I deleted my account. I really don't want to go down that road again. In the past, I have had quite a few commissions and paid through Steam purchases. I'd be happy to go that route again if you're interested. Mods from both Huron and Jhonbeta, commissioned and paid for by me using the same method. If you'd prefer not to go that route, then fair enough, I completely understand. My next pay day is in a week, on the 27th, so if you're interested, please let me know. Thank you.
