I have no idea what the puzzles are like, I didn't make it too far past the tutorial area to the island which seemed to be the main gameplay area.

Maybe its completely different a few hours in, but I am incredibly disappointed in the tonal shift of this game compared to the first. Adding quirky characters and a bunch of voice-acted dialogue is the opposite of what made the first one such a soulful experience: journeying through mysterious, deserted ancient lands and now and then reading bits of philosophy to a sublime soundtrack, the whole time questioning who you were and why you were there. To me the puzzles (while excellent) were mostly a justification to put you into that world. An experience which, admittedly at first impression, seems to have been completely destroyed by this sequel

Very poorly optimized, borderline unplayable for me on lowest settings. Gameplay seemed pretty barebones from what little I was able to tell. I'll consider repurchasing in 6 months or so if others report improvements.
