Caveat that I've played up to level 3, with one co-op partner for a very short time.

Looking good so far! A little weird female avatars are pending full release, but honestly least of my concerns. The gameplay is solid, and I can already foresee higher levels making it more hectic. Right now the influx of patrons are fairly staggered, but if say a large party arrives, I'm actually excited to see how it pans out.

Interested to see how customisable the tavern becomes. Right now, there are set furniture to place, but maybe choosing what kinds of wood, fabric, banner designs, perhaps unlockable designs behind the future quests they have in mind. Considering this is set in a fantasy world, want to see more magic stuff around.

There looks to be a variety of recipes I've yet to learn, and all the micro-business-management that entails (I like the variety aspect of it, making it so we have to change up the menu.) Looking forward to some more outlandish recipes like BBQ spider legs or something.

The visual assets looks a little borrowed 🤔 I feel like I've seen a lot of the player / NPC textures from World of Warcraft, and I note one other review noticed this too (but from other games). Not sure of the intent behind that, but honestly I actually love WoW's visual design, so not really a negative for me, but this may be for a lot of people.

I like the voice acting, but it can be a bit off-putting at some points. Not like I'm looking for some serious capitalist venture type game, so I understand the hammy acting, especially with the pop culture references which I really enjoy, but some of them end up reading like it's being read out, rather than being acted, if that makes sense. Just needs some refinement 🤏.

Not sure if my 8 year old PC is just chugging, and I'm willing to bet it is, but the NPC voices sometimes freeze and loop. A 20-second wait and it passes, but it happened a total of thrice in the space of a thirty-minute session. Additionally, dying in the game also froze the game briefly. Unsure if this is a game-end issue, or a me-end issue. I'm 70% sure it's the latter, but worth mentioning.

Co-op connectivity was great. Never really experienced any disconnect, lag, rubber-banding, but to be fair I was playing co-op locally (we're on the same network). Emotes would be fun to add.

All in all, I understand this is the first blush / demo of the game, and expect a lot of these nitpicks to be virtually gone if not ignorable in the full release. Looking forward to the full release!

Early Access Review
As someone who played Cookie Clicker non stop, this has virtually replaced it entirely. It'd be cool if you could create characters using other DnD class kits, or even using current characters as bases, but just a suggestion to personalise the clicker even further (I'd already just internally renamed some of the characters as my players' characters in my DND campaign :').) There's so much to do in it despite being an idle game, so I'm more than happy with it.

My favourite of the entire Fallout series, next to Fallout 2 :) A pity a lot of the content was dashed due to release scheduling. It's made up by the fact the mod community is as strong as most any other Bethesda game tho.
