I've got several hundred hours in this game. For me it's a very binge game. New patch comes out, I play the hell out of it for awhile, when it bores me I move on to other games, then a new patch comes with huge changes and additions and I binge again. It's a small dev team, they are slow, but at least they are consistently coming out with new updates.

My favorite aspect of the game is you have to get into super late game to feel totally "safe" in your base. The 7 night hordes do a damn good job at tearing stuff up. If you aren't ready you will spend the next 7 days rebuilding only to have it destroyed again. I love the constant threat and reason to keep going out and looting, building, planting, harvesting and expanding.

Love the game, you get used to it's quirks and flaws. Don't mind the people who complain about "zombies coming out of no where". The spawning is predictible once you've explored most of the POI's. Also, is zombie dogs jump you while you are out chopping trees, learn to watch your back.. always.
