One of the best RPG's in a long time.
Updates have fixed all problems but if game is still laggy there are free mods that can fix that.
Microtransactions are meaningless and purely cosmetic.
And yes there is fast travel but the world is beautiful and full of fun so most of the time it's not even needed.
Give it a shot!
