It tickles my 'tism and is great solo or with friends. The factory much grow and even when things become complex and massive it still could run on a toaster at 60fps

Mods are really the only thing that makes this game good. It's like Todd can't let go of Skyrim so he decided "Let's make space Skyrim with mystical powers instead of shouts." Graphically the game looks good, I like the NASA-punk vibes but there is a massively lacking selection of clothes and spacesuits. Some of the guns look amazing and some are utter dog water. I find myself gravitating towards the old reliable 12g shotgun most of the time. I feel like there was so much opportunity for this to be great, and honestly the UC Vanguard storyline and the Crimson Fleet storylines are some of my most favorite to-date but, in my opinion, all the other very limited options for faction missions are just weak and lack luster. I hate that you're forced to take on companions for the main story questline as that nullifies a few perks and traits that are focused for solo play.

The only reason I have so many hours is because of mods, and once again they're forcing the concept of the creation club, something that has had massive backlash on other Bethesda titles. I'm not going to pay money for things that should be in the main game. I'm sad that the modding community for the most part has abandoned modding for the game, I know it's just a matter of time before they add more content that breaks the mods I'm using that actually makes the game enjoyable.

I'm not a fan of spooky games and jump scare moments so going into this game blind I initially found it very relaxing and the gameplay loop and exploration was so much fun. I eventually got a seamoth constructed and made my way to the crash site only to have a reaper glitch through the wreck and snatch me up in it's jaws and I lost it. I didn't touch the game for close to 2 years but finally did a stream playthrough of it and I'm glad I did. Story is great, graphics are great, soundtrack is *chef's kiss* and I like the pacing of things. After beating it I found myself going back just to build awesome bases in the various biomes. It's worth full price but if you can find it on sale it's a must-have game in my opinion.

It's just an all-around great game. I like the base building and progression/expansion of the game. I enjoy getting lost in mines and love the exploration. At first I wasn't a huge fan of the O2 keeping me limited on movement but it becomes a non issue fairly quickly. The low poly art style works in its favor and the background music is cozy and relaxing.

I love the nostalgic vibes of this game. The PS1 styled graphics remind me of simpler times, the soundtrack is awesome, and the character pool is great. So far I really enjoy playing Megachad, Ninja, and Cl4nk with dozens of runs. When I finally beat tier 3 forest I felt pretty accomplished. Game is great both on my PC and my ROG Ally with no performance issues. Can't wait to see what else comes.

Early Access Review
An enjoyable game all around. I originally picked it up in 2021 and played the first 20 hours then let the game sit until January 2026. There has been a great amount of care put into the game and I really enjoy the pacing, the crafting, and the feel of the world. It's cozy, the gameplay loop is something that leads to "one more day" for me, and the art style is great. The roadmap looks solid and I can't wait for more to come.

TL;DR: Promising foundation with strong environmental presentation, but the demo is extremely brief and shows minor technical issues. Hopefully this isn’t indicative of the full release.

The demo initially launched to a black screen and required a file verification and reinstall before functioning properly. Once running, the experience was stable overall, though I encountered a few minor bugs—most notably persistent running audio even while stationary, and the demo ending on a black screen that required a manual close through Steam.

Visually, the game is quite appealing. The demo area is polished, the environmental design is pleasant to explore, and the UI does an excellent job of guiding the player through tasks such as repairing signs, clearing debris, photographing wildlife, and tidying campsites. The presentation feels well suited to the cozy simulation audience.

Gameplay-wise, it blends light job-simulator mechanics with exploration, though the latter is barely showcased in the demo. The core loop—maintenance tasks followed by small objective-based activities—has solid foundational design. However, within the short runtime, the tasks already begin to feel potentially repetitive. The demo concludes abruptly after only a handful of objectives across two in-game “days,” offering just enough interaction to demonstrate the mechanics, but not enough to fully evaluate depth, progression systems, or long-term engagement.

I understand that demos are meant to provide a brief sampling rather than a full vertical slice. However, this one feels particularly bare-bones and stops just as it begins to establish rhythm. A slightly longer demonstration—perhaps showcasing additional systems, progression, or environmental variety—would have provided players a stronger basis for determining whether to support the game in Early Access.

The project clearly has strong bones and a solid conceptual direction. I’ll continue to monitor its development, but at present, I’m hesitant to commit to Early Access until more depth and stability are demonstrated.

Though I'm not a great detective and refuse to cheese my way through the game this is a very enjoyable title. I like the vibes it has; verry gritty and noir. I'm hoping that with some more time behind the wheel I can get over the hump/learning curve so that I can really enjoy all aspects of the game.

I thought this would be a distribution center where you can store and sell products with some more production/logistics chain options. Instead I got a pointless mini-game for a sale point that gives me what, 10% more on the sale price? I really feel like you dropped the ball on this on GIANTS, you should take a hard look at your modding community that has made warehouses that are actually worth using.

This makes me feel very weary about future DLC. I know this was only $8 but it feels like a lazy, cash grab addition to the game.

Even though I use a lot of the realism and difficulty mods I play this game to relax. I'll throw on a podcast, set my GPS driving, toggle first-person view, and just tune out working my way through a 4x map like Edgewater or Midwest Horizons. It helps me to disconnect and recharge my internal batteries.

It's also a good time playing with friends, working bigger fields together and just BSing after a long week. I got the base game for free but have personally purchased all DLC myself.
