Whilst the real world falls apart in 2020, the creative world thrives. Hades 1.0 is a testament to that. The story reacts to the action roguelike genre in a seamlessly satisfying way drawing from the beautiful, drama filled setting of Greek mythology. The gameplay is glorious, combining power-fantasy with fluid controls and just enough RNG to keep it interesting. The characters have humour, sex appeal and relatable problems.

Game of the year and single player indie game of the decade for me. Throw all the awards at this team for creating a (and I don't use this word lightly) masterpiece!

Early Access Review
Without a doubt the most Free2Play CCG I've ever played and I'd like to think I've tried them all. With Set 3 on the horizon, now is a good time to get into this. Especially recommend if you need a break from HS or MTG.

If you're looking for an alternative to Hearthstone/M:TG, this probably fits the bill. Added depth of a hex board makes for more skill based play, you always feel like you deserved the win rather than getting lucky with "oops I win" cards. As a card game, RNG is there but there's a lot less in it than Hearthstone.

Value wise, the steam pack is well worth it - a great headstart. Easily able to create a tier 2/2.5 deck with it, if not better. Crafting system draws comparisons to Hearthstone. You don't need legendaries to be competitive. The Pandora (Arena/Draft) mode is very fun and rewarding. Solo missions/puzzles for days. There's a lot of content here and with the upcoming expansion, there's a lot more to come.

If you're interested, put my in game name as your recruiter! We both get rewards as you level. IGN: DeadDancer
